After being replaced by Jose Mourinho by former club Tottenham Spurs, “The Poch” (Mauricio Pochettino) may find a new home at Bayern Munich as he finds himself as a possible contender for the vacant position. The Bundesliga giants giants are currently under the helm of interim manager Hansi Flick until they find a permanent replacement in January.
The football community has been awash with rumors as to who may possibly take over as Bayern Munich manager. Ajax’s Erik ten Hag, PSG’s Thomas Tuchel, Ralf Rangnick and Arsene Wenger are all rumored candidates that have come forward to dispel word form the rumor-mill of any possible links to the Bayern Munich position.
The question is not just if Pochettino is in the running for the position but also whether or not he would even accept the post should he be offered as reportedly has a £12.5 million compensation clause with former club Tottenham that is set to be paid off in installment. However, should he find himself working again anytime during the 3 – 6 month notice period, the installments will stop immediately.
