Following the availability of Call of Duty in the post-loot box era, Activision and Infinity Ward said what “season one” in Modern Warfare will bring players. As it’s moved to a Battle Pass system, copying Fortnite and other shooters, developers are calling this “the biggest free content drop in Call of Duty history.”
Some Players will be able to find out what exactly the 100 tiers of Battle Pass rewards are by next week when the season start by 3rd December but that will be open for those who who pay up for premium access. Although, everything that has been announced for now is available for free. There are also some that players can earn via playing the game proper.
Some of the new maps coming to the game include a few favorites from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, like Crash, Vacant and Shipment. You’ll also see expansion with three new gameplay modes, like a 2v2 gunfight where players have to practically look for weapons and resources after the match begins, a single-life “Reinforce” mode with two teams fighting to take charge of three flags, and a new Infected survival game mode as well.
Aside the once mentioned already, there are some other new weapons and some new Special Ops co-op missions on the way. Most of the content could drop later in the season, but you can expect almost everything on all platforms at the same time.
Roadmap Announcement: #CallofDuty #ModernWarfare Changes the Rules of Engagement.
