Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a meeting with the leaders of the Academic Staff Union of Universities in Nigeria (ASUU) over the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).
The association of the Academic Staff Union of University has refused to be included in the IPPIS initiative which was advised by President Buhari.

The uncomplying position of the universities under ASUU has made it impossible for all universities to comply with the directives. Just a few institutions did comply.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari demands that all ministries, government departments, agencies under government regulations, including the Police staff, the Armed Forces and educational institutions be included in the IPPIS initiative.
