Burna Boy Gets BRIT Award Nomination After Scooping Soundcity MVPs

Nigerian trending superstar, Burna Boy who recently bagged Soundcity MVP Award has been nominated for Best International Male Artist at the BRIT Award 2020.

The BRIT Award 2020 is the 40th edition of the British Phonographic Industry’s annual pop music awards. The award that is slated to hold on February 18, 2020, will see Jack Whitehall hosting it for the third year running.

Nominations are so far led by British rapper of Nigerian descent, Dave and singer, Lewis Capaldi.

Burna Boy launched his talent in Britain in 2020 when he collaborated with British artists like Dave, Mahalia, Jorja Smith (twice), Wretch 32 and Stormzy. The song from the collaboration also charted within the top 10 of the Official UK Singles chart.
