Tension in Imo state following the Supreme Court announcement to deliver judgment on the petition contesting the declaration of Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party ‘PDP’ as the governor of Imo State. Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress ‘APC’ is contesting Emeka Ihedioha’s victory as the true winner of the last governorship election.

Although the APC and the PDP have in different statements expressed confidence that their respective candidates would win the case, tension still gripped both politicians and residents in the state as they also consider Rev Father Ejike Mbaka’s prophecy that said Uzodinma will take over the leadership of the state from Ihedioha of PDP.

A report shows that both party members and supporters have now diverted their attention towards seeking divine help by consulting prayer houses and religious leaders for prayers ahead of the judgment.

APC’s confidence seems to be overflowing after listening to Rev Father Ejike Mbaka’s prophesy which says that Uzodinma will become governor of Imo State. Although there is no clue whether he will become the governor in the next election or over the current struggle.
