Burna Boy lost again!! Nigerian self-acclaimed ”Africa Giant” and ”Best Singer”, Burna has lost the Best Male International at BRIT Award 2020 to Grammy-winning American rapper, Tyler The Creator.
The latest controversial singer, Burna Boy was nominated for Best International Male Artist at the BRIT Awards 2020 alongside Americans artists, Bruce Springsteen, Dermot Kennedy, Post Malone and Tyler The Creator.
The lost follows the Grammy nomination that Burna ”Man” received from his widely criticized self-acclaimed album, African Giant. On the night, the Afrobeat artist performed songs like Stormzy’s ‘Own It’ and especially aced his performance of, ‘Anybody.’
This year’s BRIT marked the 40th edition of the British Phonographic Industry’s annual pop music awards. The show was brilliantly hosted by Jack Whitehall. Nominations were led by British rapper of Nigerian descent, Dave and singer, Lewis Capaldi.
Unlike the usual Burna, he has allowed social media to rest as one would have expected him to put up a drama, probably claiming he was the best but they chose to give it to an American rapper. Rather Burner congratulated Stormzy for winning ”Male Solo Artist of the Year”,
