Some other fans were keen enough to have spotted his romances with Selena Gomez, and Bella Hadid. The Weeknd dated both ladies for quite some time over their careers, and now, we’re breaking down the relationships and their timelines to give fans the full scope of what actually went down.

The “Star Boy” singer first dated Bella in 2015 when they were seen together in May of the same year at the Coachella music festival. Then in December of the same year, the supermodel featured in The Weeknd’s music video for his track “In The Night” off of his album Beauty Behind The Madness.

Even though they both kept their relationship pretty private, they were often spotted out together. Then, in 2016, they made their red carpet appearance at the 2016 Grammy Awards together. By November of the same year, they separated as a result of conflicting schedules and rigorous work commitments.

Not long after The Weeknd parted ways with Bella he began dating “Lose You To Love Me” songstress, Selena in January of 2017. They both made a few public appearances together, mostly at the 2017 Met Gala where they packed on the PDA in their glamorous outfits. Their burning romance made them both moved in together in New York City by September of that year.

Although things didn’t work out as they both expected and they did went their separate ways in October. We could also say that their relationship did not last so long. Now, fans are saying that Selena inspired the song “Save Your Tears” off of The Weeknd’s latest album.

The opening lyric to The Weeknd’s track says, “I saw you dancing in a crowded room,” which could point to one of Selena’s songs on her recent album, Rare, titled “Crowded Room.” The song also goes on with lyrics like, “Take me back ’cause I want to stay,” and “You could’ve asked me why I broke your heart, You could’ve told me that you fell apart.”

You may have a different thought anyways, but that’s not the only song making fans wonder about The Weeknd’s love life. It’s complex because The Weeknd rekindled his relationship with Bella Hadid in May 2018 after splitting with Selena, before they called it quits again in 2019. However, the remaining part of their relationship was littered throughout After Hours, according to fans.

The Weeknd said in his song “Escape From L.A.,”… “She got Chrome Hearts hanging from her neck.” Chrome Hearts is the name of the streetwear brand Bella has done multiple collaborations with. In December 2019, she did her most recent partnership with the brand for the Hellz Bellz Capsule Collection.

So fans might just be right, right!??
