Piers Morgan had told fans that he has tested negative for the coronavirus but won’t be returning to GMB show until his doctor allows him to do so.
Good morning Britain famously know as GMB is a weekly morning program that provides the latest news, weather and sports and the latest information in entertainment, health and money hosted by Piers Morgan, Susanna Ried, Ben Shephard, and Kate Garraway.
Presenter Piers had been feeling unwell and showed what seemed to be coronavirus symptoms which led to him going into the west London studio every morning doing his own make-up and sitting two meters away from co-host Susanna Reid.
Mr. Morgan gave his fans an update following his tweet on Sunday that reads ” On medical advice and out of an abundance of caution for a mild symptom that arose in the past 48hrs, I’ve had a test for Covid-19 and so won’t be working on @GMB until I get the results back, which should be tomorrow ” He told his fans that his Covid-19 test was negative.
Piers was advised to take the test by his doctor after developing possible coronavirus symptoms and was entitled to do so as Government designated essential worker.
“I’ll be back on @GMB as soon as my doctor advises I’m ok to return to work,” He said.
Ben Shephard has stepped in to host the show alongside Susanna Reid in Piers Absence while relieved viewers tweeted Piers to send their best wishes.
One said “Yay, thank goodness…phew.. don’t be away too long…missing you ..xx ”
Another added “@PiersMorgan and @GMB great, now get back to being our voice Piers”
It’s proof that Piers fans cant wait to see him back on their screens once again.
