There is a new “mimic” feature that allows players to take on the form of other characters. The multiplayer function was also touched for the better, as online multiplayer is available for the first time in addition to crossplay across all platforms.
As at when Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition was first announced in 2018, Square Enix revealed it will roll out in late 2019. But it wasn’t possible and another date, January 23rd, 2020 was given. In December 2019, the release date was again changed to summer 2020.
Although Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle is not the first game in the Final Fantasy franchise that has been delayed. After Final Fantasy XV was announced to be released in 2006, it was released in 2016. The Final Fantasy VII also did not come as at when it was supposed to come.
