Tory Lanez Charged With Shooting Megan Thee Stallion, Risks 22yr Jail Term

Rapper Daystar Peterson widely known as Tory Lanez has Thursday been charged with shooting Megan Thee Stallion on the leg earlier this year in the Hollywood Hills, following the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

The hyper controversial rapper is facing one felony count charge each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle which he used on Meghan in the Hollywood Hills.

Lanez who’s currently 28-years-old on July 12, got into an argument with Megan, 25, while driving in an SUV, when Megan stepped out of the car, the Canadian rapper told her to “dance, bitch” before releasing several shots at her feet, according to media reports.

The “WAP” rapper publicly accused Lanez of shooting her on Instagram in August.

“Yes, this n—a Tory shot me. You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lyin’ and s–t. Stop lyin’. Why lie?” Megan said in a video.

Megan has said she was “real-life hurt and traumatized” by the incident.

Although Lanez has repeatedly denied shooting Megan, he is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 13 in Los Angeles County Superior Court to face charges and if convicted, he will face up to 22 years in jail.
