Twitter Has Flagged Trump Tweet That Calls For Final Election Total On Election Day

“Big problems and discrepancies with Mail-In Ballots all over the USA. Must have final total on November 3rd,” the president tweeted, without releasing any evidence to back up his claims.

Twitter has once again flagged a tweet from President Trump on Monday night that called for a final election total by Election Day.

“Big problems and discrepancies with Mail-In Ballots all over the USA. Must have final total on November 3rd,” the president tweeted, without releasing any evidence to back up his claims.

Twitter stopped its platform users from liking or retweeting the tweet from President Trump and however, provided a reason for flagging the tweet.

“Some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about how to participate in an election or another civic process,” a message that’s attached to President Trump’s original tweet reads.

The social media giant also provided a link that directs users to some stories that explained the safety and security of mail-in voting.

President Trump has on several occasions criticized mail-in voting before Election Day, but particularly he said earlier this month that the voting system poses a larger threat than China or Russia on the outcome of the entire election.

President Trump in August accused Democrats of “trying to steal the election” with their push for mail-in voting system.
