Trump Supporters Create Traffic Jams On Garden State Parkway, Mario Cuomo Bridge

New York state Sen. David Carlucci, whose district covers Nyack, criticized the caravan and called on the state police to charge everyone involved in the act. 

Two caravans of President Donald Trump supporters reportedly wreaked havoc on the Garden State Parkway and the Mario M. Cuomo Bridge on Sunday, causing serious traffic jams by stopping and walking out of their cars in the middle of the road.

Then, in New Jersey, demonstrators in cars, SUVs, and pickup trucks honked their horns and continued waving pro-Trump flags, according to a video which as posted on Twitter by Yeshiva World News.

“Yeah… woo!” the person recording the event of happenings could be heard saying, “We shut it down, baby. We shut it down.”

Meanwhile, the caravan was at a standstill, with some people standing right on the top of their cars, as shown in the video. There was also a similar scene in New York on the bridge connecting Nyack and Tarrytown.

A video recorded by FNTV revealed President Trump supporters either idling in their cars or standing on the bridge to chants of, “USA, USA, USA.”

New York state Sen. David Carlucci, whose district covers Nyack, criticized the caravan and called on the state police to charge everyone involved in the act.

“What was seen in New York was aggressive, dangerous, and reckless behavior by some Trump supporters,” Carlucci said on a Twitter post.

He said, “The New York State Police should be working to identify these individuals and charging them. We all have the right to show support for a presidential candidate, but we do not have the right to endanger others and break the law”.
