The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” 36-year-old star disclosed that she has gone through IVF three different times in a move to give their daughter, True Thompson, 2, a sibling.
“I froze my eggs once already and when I was ready to make embryos with Tristan, I was making embryos,” Kardashian said on Sarah Hyland’s “Ellen” original digital series, “Lady Parts,” while adding that none of the eggs survived after she defrosted them.
The reality show star said she later realized that her eggs weren’t strong enough to be frozen, so, that was a wrong move.
“They should be mixed immediately with sperm to make embryos. So I actually have made embryos,” Khloé said while adding that the pandemic delayed her and Thompson’s family expansion plan.
“And then, you know, with COVID, finding this whole fertility process, if you do need assistance in fertility, it’s much more challenging during COVID,” Khloé added.
“They say, ‘If you wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans.’ So the one time I’m actually really trying to plan, God is saying, ‘Uh uh, you can’t make your plans like this.’”
Khloé Kardashian said the reason she’s so interested in giving her daughter a sibling is because she grew up in a large family.
“I definitely do want more kids. I have so many brothers and sisters. I think it’s such a blessing, especially during these times, to have a family member or people that you can play with and rely on and just have a buddy through life,” she said.
