The former First Lady says she hopes Meghan and Harry can reconcile with the British royal family after all because there’s nothing like family.

“My hope is that, when I think about what they’re going through, I think about the importance of family, and I just pray that there is forgiveness, and there is clarity and love and resolve at some point in time,” Obama told Access Hollywood Monday.

“Because there’s nothing more important than family,” the former FLOTUS added.

The interview became controversial after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed during the interview that senior royals were worried over how dark their son Archie’s skin would be when he is born.

That wasn’t all, as they gradually rattled everyone including sister-in-law Kate Middleton who Markle said once made her cry to Harry’s dad, Prince Charles who they said refused his calls at the time.
