Pregnant Meghan Markle Won’t Join Prince Harry At Prince Philip’s Funeral

During the interview, Prince Harry told Oprah Winfrey that his father Prince Charles, and older brother Prince William are still trapped within their senior roles in the royal family.

Prince Harry is very sure of attending his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral in the UK, but his pregnant wife Meghan Markle will not be traveling with him, a report has stated on Saturday.

According to the report, Meghan Markle had been keen to accompany her husband to the UK but failed to get her doctor’s approval for the journey considering that she’s expecting her baby girl in the early summer.

Having Prince Harry at the funeral will be the first time the Duke of Sussex has been back to his homeland after they decided to quit the royal family last year and moved to California with their son Archie to start a private life.

It will also be the first time he will meet his family physically after their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pegged the royal family to racism allegations.

During the interview, Prince Harry told Oprah Winfrey that his father Prince Charles, and older brother Prince William are still trapped within their senior roles in the royal family.

That notwithstanding, Harry who also spoke of his love for his grandmother, will not miss Prince Philip’s funeral for any reason, a source said on Friday.

A UK royal source told the Post “Harry will, of course, be there, no matter how difficult relations are between the Sussexes and the family.”

The heavily pregnant Duchess of Sussex will stay back with their son Archie.
