Prince Harry received rock-star recognition as he attends real pop royalty with Jennifer Lopez and Selena Gomez at a star-filled pro-vaccination concert in California on Sunday night.
The Duke of Sussex went to the Global Citizen’s ‘Vax Live’: The Concert to Reunite the World’ alone leaving behind his heavily pregnant wife Meghan Markle and their son Archie… one of the largest concerts in Southern California since the beginning of the pandemic.
We could see on video the audience going wild, screaming on top of their voices … cheering and jumping to their feet as Prince Harry walked up to the stage dressed very casually.

The Duke of Sussex spoke to the crowd in what could be seen as his first public appearance since returning from the UK after attending his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral.
The British Prince described online misinformation about the coronavirus vaccines as a ‘humanitarian crisis’ that is getting worse, while also speaking about the unfortunate plight of India and its ‘second wave’ of the virus.
“The vaccine must be distributed to everyone everywhere. We cannot rest or truly recover until there is fair distribution to every corner of the world. The virus does not respect borders and access to the vaccine cannot be determined by geography,” Prince Harry said.
Harry joined world celebs and pop stars at the show, which is scheduled to air on TV on May 8, and was initiated by Selena Gomez, who recognized the brave frontline workers.
Jennifer Lopez spoke about the effect of the coronavirus which forced her to spend Christmas apart from her mother, while fully vaccinated, mom Guadalupe joined her on stage to sing Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline… the song she used to sing to me as a baby,” J.Lo said.
The concert saw performances from celebs like Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, J Balvin, and H.E.R., while Ben Affleck, Chrissy Teigen, Jimmy Kimmel, Sean Penn, and David Letterman all appeared as special guest speakers.
Eddie Vedder described the concert as the first ‘taste of the life we’ve all been missing for more than a year.’
He said, “This is a feeling we have not had in some time. There’s a microphone, a crowd. It feels good.”
The Foo Fighters were joined by surprise guest Brian Johnson of AC/DC for a rendition of “Back in Black.”
“We ain’t out of the woods yet… let’s work as hard as we can to make sure we can do this every night,” said frontman Dave Grohl.

All in attendance during the concert were fully vaccinated, and media and production staff were required to show a negative COVID-19 test before entering the stadium. In a pre-taped message, President Biden said “the vaccines are safe. I promise you. They work.”
“We’re working with leaders around the world to share more vaccines and boost production to make sure every country has the vaccines they need. If we get this done, we won’t have to miss another moment,” said the president.
