It’s a beautiful day for Queen Elizabeth II who celebrated her grandson Prince William’s 39th birthday on Monday by putting out a couple of royal pictures.
Some images shared on the family’s Twitter account show the Duke of Cambridge smiling at four different events, including 2019’s Trooping the Color, where he was standing with his wife Kate Middleton and their children.

In 2019, during the Queen’s birthday, Prince William, Kate Middleton and their children made his Buckingham Palace balcony debut for the annual Trooping the Color parade.
In the monarch’s tribute on Monday, William and Kate were also seen laughing together in another snap taken from the Cambridges’ May tour of Scotland, where they took part in the Lawn Tennis Association’s Youth program.
Prince Charles also shared some throwback images with which he wished his son a happy birthday, “A very Happy Birthday to The Duke of Cambridge,” his post read.
There were several messages pouring in on the Cambridges’ account on Instagram from royal fans.
A royal fan wrote, “Couldn’t have wished for a better future King! Happy birthday.”
“Happy Birthday Prince William. I hope you have a lovely day with your wife and children,” another wrote.
Prince William kicked off his 39th birthday celebration in an eventful way, beginning Sunday on Father’s Day. The Duke of Cambridge with George and Charlotte, surprised runners participating in a half-marathon at the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

According to the BBC, the royal trio cheered on runners as the race began, with participant Brian Cook stating it was “a nice surprise and nice of them to do.” The event brought some joy to the family, considering that they have been mourning since April following the death of the Prince Philip.
