Bill Cosby is considering suing Pennsylvania, accusing his accusers’ lawyers of having a “axe to grind against black men.”
Andrew Wyatt, Cosby’s publicist, made the remarks on Friday. Last month, the comedian was released from prison after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his 2018 sexual assault conviction, citing violations of his due process rights.
According to Wyatt, Cosby is hoping to receive “a couple hundred grand” in restitution.
Wyatt told The Domenick Nati Show, “We are looking at what recourse, what legal recourse we can take against the state of Pennsylvania. We are looking at all legal angles for those things right now.”
Wyatt then slammed attorneys Gloria Allred and her daughter Lisa Bloom, who represented several of the more than 60 women who came forward to accuse Cosby of sexual harassment.
