Matt Damon has given his blessing to the reunion of Jennifer Lopez and actor Ben Affleck, saying he’s “so happy” for his best friend and the pop star, who has been dating since the spring.

“I’m just so happy for him. He’s the best. He deserves every happiness in the world. I’m glad for both of them,” Damon told “Extra” on Monday.
Matt Damon, who is also set to appear in “The Last Duel” alongside Ben, previously remained tight-lipped when asked about Bennifer 2.0 back in May.
“I love them both. I hope it’s true. That would be awesome,” the Oscar winner said.
Matt appears to have received permission to address their relationship now that the “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” singer and “Argo” star Ben have gone Instagram official.
J.Lo, 52, and Ben, 48, have been vacationing in the South of France for the “Selena” actress’s birthday and have left little to the imagination about what they’ve been up to while relaxing on a mega-yacht.
In an attempt to give fans what they want, or perhaps by chance, the couple was seen reenacting a sexy scene from her “Jenny From the Block” music video in which Ben grabs her booty.
Ben is seen in recent photos placing his hand on J.Lo’s bikini bottom-clad rear while the singer’s personal photographer on board captures the action presumably for Lopez’s own Instagram page, which previously featured photos of J.Lo in the same $650 Valentino swimsuit.

Following Ben and Jennifer’s weekend yachting adventure, the “Gigli” stars went out for a celebratory night at St-Tropez restaurant L’Opéra, where they were photographed smiling at each other while at their table for two.
