Amazon Releases First ‘Wheel of Time’ Trailer Ahead Of Nov. 19th Debut

The first three episodes of the Wheel of Time will be available on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, November 19th, with new episodes released every week until December 24th, when the season finale will be available.

The first trailer for Amazon long-awaited adaptation of Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time has been released. If you’re new to the fantasy series, the video sketched out the basics of the world created by the author before his death in 2007.

Only women known as Aes Sedai can channel magic in the Wheel of Time. Moiraine (Rosamund Pike, Gone Girl, Hostiles) is a powerful sorceress who comes across a small town called Two Rivers and meets five young men and women.

One of them, she believes, is the Dragon Reborn, an entity that has the potential to save or destroy humanity.

Amazon first announced in 2018 that it was working on a live-action adaptation of Robert Jordan’s 14-volume fantasy series, but filming was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, as it had been with the company’s other big-budget fantasy adaptation.
