Ben Affleck and reunited lover Jennifer Lopez posed for pictures at the premiere of “The Last Duel” Friday evening in Venice, Italy in what could be said to be their first red carpet outing since Bennifer 2.0 began in April of this year.
Jennifer Lopez, 52, was spotted on screen walking alongside and holding hands with Ben Affleck, 49, who plays Count Pierre of Alençon in the upcoming historical drama.
Ben also co-scripted the Ridley Scott-directed film with longtime friend and frequent collaborator Matt Damon, who has long been a fan of Ben’s on-again, off-again romance with J.Lo.
Matt Damon, 50, said in July following Bennifer’s reunion that he was “so happy” for his best friend (Ben Affleck), adding that, “I love them both.”
Jennifer Lopez stole the show in a long, white Georges Hobeika gown at Friday’s Venice Film Festival event, despite playing the supportive girlfriend role to Ben.
Just before getting glammed up, the celebrities were spotted having some quiet one-on-one time on their hotel balcony. The tender moment occurred between a “Last Duel” photocall, which J.Lo also attended, and the nighttime premiere.
Ben and Jennifer last walked an official red carpet together in February 2003, that was the premiere of “Daredevil,” when they were still engaged, though finally pressed the divorced button months later, in January 2004.
