A remastered director’s cut of Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky IV will premiere in theaters on November 11, SurgeZirc US can confirm.
This was announced by MGM and Fathom Events. A streaming version of the movie will also be available on November 12th.

The new version is titled Rocky IV: Rocky vs. Drago | The Ultimate Director’s Cut.
Rocky IV, is an American sports drama classic written and directed by the Hollywood actor, Stallone.
The movie was made during the U.S. Cold War with the Soviet Union. It features Italian Stallion defending his title against Ivan Drago in the USSR.
As at its release in 1985, it ranked as the highest-earning Rocky movie and raked in $300 million.
The existing raw footage of Rocky IV was re-edited and a 40-minute sequence was added by Stallone into the new movie.

The original release starred Brigitte Nielsen, Burt Young, Carl Weathers, Michael Pataki, Robert Doornick, Talia Shire, Stu Nahan, and Tony Burton.
Rocky was a huge success when it was released by 74-year-old Stallone. The movie was inducted into the National Film Registry. Additionally, its props were on display at the Smithsonian Museum.
Stallone used the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s front entrance in the Rocky series, which led to the area being nicknamed the Rocky Steps. He was voted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame and a statue of his character, Rocky stands permanently near the museum in Philadelphia.
