The number was originally Kim’s personal line, but she recently started using it for her business after opening her dessert in 2019.

Having recently been diagnosed with acute stress disorder and now taking medication to calm her nerves, the woman lamented that the calls are a huge disruption to her life.

Speaking with CNN, she said;
“I cannot focus because unknown numbers are repeatedly calling me, I had past customers who called to complain that they cannot get a hold of me. One caller asked for the product but when I offered it, said they were joking and hung up. I cannot tell the difference between genuine business calls and prank calls.”

Kim Gil-young was, however, offered one million South Korean won ($840) in compensation to pay for a new phone by the production team of Squid game, but she insists that the offer wasn’t sufficient since the number is a business line.
