Disney+ Drops Trailer For ‘Olaf Presents’, A Series That Recreates The Studio’s Classics

The animated studio has creatively transformed the snowman into a showman as Olaf will retell the tales of five classic Disney animated shows; "The Little Mermaid," "The Lion King," "Aladdin," "Moana" and "Tangled."

Olaf, the snowman from Frozen, will return to Television screens from next month, but this time as a new Disney series titled Olaf Presents.

The animated studio has creatively transformed the snowman into a showman as Olaf will retell the tales of five classic Disney animated shows; “The Little Mermaid,” “The Lion King,” “Aladdin,” “Moana” and “Tangled.”

The Jennifer Newfield-led production team has released a trailer for Olaf Presents heightening fans’ anticipation.

The new series, directed by animator Hyrum Osmond, will air exclusively on Disney+ from Friday, November 12, 2021.

The official synopsis made available by the streaming service reads; In “Olaf Presents,” Olaf steps into the spotlight and goes from snowman to showman as he takes on the roles of producer, actor, costumer, and set builder for his unique “retelling” of five favorite Disney animated tales in “Olaf Presents,” a series of new animated shorts from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

The charismatic and versatile Olaf demonstrates his theatrical flair, taking on such iconic roles as a mermaid, a genie, a lion king (and most of the parts in between), as he entertains Arendelle with his delightful abbreviated versions of these beloved tales. Josh Gad returns to voice Olaf with veteran Disney animator Hyrum Osmond directing and Jennifer Newfield producing.
