The college in a statement said, one casualty was an understudy enlisted at the college. That individual was being treated at a nearby emergency clinic for unknown wounds.

The personalities of the other seven casualties have not been made public and the Police were yet to identify a suspect on Sunday.

The conflict has been blamed on persons not connected to the school by the Grambling State’s President.
