Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too $hort, and E-40 Of Mt. Westmore Finally Drops First Track, Big Subwoofer

Earlier this week, fellow rapper, Eminem had also whetted the appetite of fans by tweeting the group's first video snippet.

Mt. Westmore which comprises talented rappers, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too $hort, and E-40 have finally released their first collaborative track, Big Subwoofer.

The supergroup took to their official Instagram account on Tuesday, October 19 to disclose that the single will be released a day after (Wednesday), teasing fans with the single’s cover art.

Earlier this week, fellow rapper, Eminem had also whetted the appetite of fans by tweeting the group’s first video snippet.

Mt. Westmore went back to their West Coast gangsta roots for this one has the new single is bass-heavy, blatantly braggy. The trio also dropped an accompanying video for Big Subwoofer.

While it remains sketchy if this was planned or only coincidental, the release of the single falls on Snoop Dogg’s 50th birthday.

In a press release, Def Jam Recordings also revealed that the song will be live on Snoop Dogg’s impending album, Algorithm. This will mark Snoop’s, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, very first project as an executive of Def Jam.

“There’s so much talent on this record, so many styles of music, it breaks the algorithm,” Snoop Dogg noted. “Right now, the algorithm is telling us you have to rap this way, you have to sound this way, but they’re not telling you how it’s supposed to feel. My algorithm is going to give you a feeling, not a sound”, he added.

Triller’s 2021 Fight Club had Mt. Westmore perform live for the first time in April. The four-hour Pay-Per-View affair included performances from Doja Cat, Saweetie, Justin Bieber, The Black Keys, Diplo and Major Lazer.
