Josh O’Connor And Paul Mescal To Co-Star In LGBT Love Story ‘The History Of Sound’

The History Of Sound is an adaptation of Ben Shattuck’s short story of the same name and directed by Oliver Hermanus.

Actors Josh O’Connor and Paul Mescal are starring together in a new LGBT film, The History Of Sound which revolves around World War 1.

The romantic story focuses on two young men; David played by Josh, and Lionel played by Paul

An official synopsis of the film reads: “In this snatched, short-lived moment in their young lives and while discovering the epic sweep of the US, both men are deeply changed.”

Production, headed by Andrew Kortschak, Lisa Ciuffetti, and Andrea Roa, will kick off in summer 2022 in the U.S. and on location in the UK and Italy.
