Katy Perry isn’t just “Waking Up in Vegas,” she’s also performing there. On the first night of her “Play” residency at Resorts World Las Vegas on Wednesday, the 27-year-old pop star showed off her playful signature style in a series of show-stopping outfits.

In one memorable moment, the “Roar” singer literally showed off her cans by wearing a metallic minidress covered in crushed beer cans, which she used to pour herself a pint mid-performance.
Perry fans may have had fashion flashbacks when she sprayed whipped cream out of a different can-embellished bra in her 2010 “California Gurls” music video.
The singer’s candy-colored “Perry Playland” was full of gigantic set pieces – and matching over-the-top appearances.
Katy opened Act I of the fashion-filled extravaganza in a pink and white babydoll dress, adding to the retro vibe with white boots and ’60s-inspired makeup.
Later, she turned up the heat in a red latex ensemble, walking through a sea of toadstools while wearing a cutout bodysuit, fringed chaps, and a matching mushroom cap hat.
Another fringe-enhanced look? Her white minidress and turban, which she wore as she emerged from a 16-foot-tall toilet next to an equally massive toilet paper tower.
She then polished off the bathroom-themed look by wearing a bubble-covered dress and stepping into a large bathtub.
The “Smile” singer ended the night on a glamorous note, wearing a sparkly sunset-colored cutout dress and gold opera gloves by Johnny Wujek before closing the show in a pink velvet gown with an embellished neckline.
Wujek has recreated many of Perry’s eccentric wardrobe moments, most recently her hand sanitizer and vaccine costumes.
