Kate Middleton is in Scandinavia this week to meet with Queen Margrethe II and Crown Princess Mary on behalf of The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, and she chose some diplomatic attire to begin her visit.

We frequently see the Duchess of Cambridge honoring her host country by wearing a local designer or colors that are culturally significant, so it’s no surprise that she chose a pair of earrings by Copenhagen-based designer Maria Black.

The jeweler’s “Cha Cha” earrings ($366 for two) with chunky yellow gold-plated hoops and pearl drops were worn by the Duchess of Cambridge.

The royal figure is accessorized with a coordinating piece from favorite brand Monica Vinader, a vintage chain pearl necklace ($390).

Kate Middleton even dressed to match the Danish flag, wearing the same bright red Zara blazer she wore to the Euro finals last summer, paired with a white ruffled blouse by Me + Em.

She wore Roland Mouret’s black wide-leg trousers again, as well as her Gianvito Rossi “Piper 85” pumps ($695) and carried one of her favorite bags, the Aspinal of London “Midi Mayfair” bag in black patent croc ($850).

Kate is also on her first solo working visit since the pandemic, and she began her trip by visiting the Centre for Early Intervention and Family Studies at the University of Copenhagen.
