Khloé Kardashian has finally admitted that her relationship with Tristan Thompson was not meant to be.
“With Tristan I did feel incredibly safe in the beginning, and I felt really good for a time,” Khloé, 37, told “Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts during Wednesday’s “The Kardashians: An ABC News Special.”

“I remember when he cheated on me right before I gave birth [to True] and I was able to still have him in the delivery room. It might have looked strange to the outside world, but when my daughter watches my home videos, those videos are going to be as pure and perfect as I was able to make them.”
Khloé Kardashian noted that while she thinks Thompson, 31, is still “a great guy” and a great dad, he’s “just not the guy for me.”
When asked about wanting more privacy amid her personal traumas, Khloé offered, “We all crave those times, we definitely do, but I think we all know what we signed up for. What I go through on social media is not what I go through in real life.”
Kourtney Kardashian’s relationship with Thompson has been public fodder for years, with the NBA baller having a child with another woman last year, reportedly while still in a relationship with the “Good American” founder.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son,” Tristan who shares 3-year-old daughter True with confessed in January after facing a paternity suit from Nichols.
He continued, “Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”
While facing Roberts’ line of questioning was the first time the reality star directly addressed her relationship with Thompson since his latest affair, she subtly criticized him three weeks later with a post about his actions.
