Kourtney Kardashian Had Travis Barker ‘Draped All Over’ Her Met Gala 2022 Look

The styles of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker couldn’t be more similar.

On Tuesday, the Poosh founder thanked designer Thom Browne on Instagram for her and her fiancé’s matching Met Gala 2022 outfits and revealed new details about the couple’s matching red carpet attire.

“When I heard that Travis and I were the first couple you had dressed, how important it was to you that our story be told, for us to be an extension of each other, it meant so much to us,” Kardashian, 43, began her caption.

“I love how I was the deconstructed version of his perfectly polished look. I had all of the elements from his look draped all over me.”

Travis Barker’s pleated skirt, jacket, and suit pants all appeared to be “dripping” from her own skirt, according to the star.

Thom Browne confirmed in a press release that Kardashian’s look was created “by reconstructing the tailored pieces that Travis Barker wears to showcase her individuality with exposed construction details.”

Her cummerbund, for example, may have appeared to be peekaboo Spanx (or Skims), but it was actually made of raw muslin.

Travis Barker, 46, wore a white silk faille suit with a matching bow tie.

The theme of this year’s Met Gala was “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” and the dress code was “gilded glamour,” which Kardashian admitted she “didn’t really think about” when deciding what to wear.

While the reality star may not have given the theme much thought, she clearly had a vision in mind for her and Barker’s outfits.

The couple got engaged in October 2021 and “married” in a Las Vegas ceremony in April 2021 which was revealed not to be a legal marriage.

When they finally tie the knot, they may turn to Thom Browne once more.
