Why Biden's Comment On His Classified Document Scandal Is Annoying.

President Joe Biden wants the people to know something. Following the discovery of highly sensitive material (Classified Document) in Biden’s former office, garage, and library, the president wanted to be clear about one thing (and only one thing): “I have no regrets.”

It was a moment to parallel his devastating realization that, while secret material was discovered in his garage, it was also a secured garage that housed his treasured 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

While Biden’s “Corvette standard” for preserving confidential papers was perplexing, his “no regrets” assertion is downright irritating. It’s also incredibly idiotic to have a special counsel in the field.

Either the president believes Special Counsel Robert K. Hur will cover up the whole thing, or he is attempting to force his hand with a criminal prosecution.

Biden was miffed to be even asked about the matter after stonewalling the press for days. He ventured out of his White House bunker to tour storm damage in California and used the victims as a virtual human shield:

“You know what, quite frankly, bugs me is that we have a serious problem here we’re talking about. We’re talking about what’s going on. And the American people don’t quite understand why you don’t ask me questions about that.”

The difficulty is that recent surveys suggest that, while the president has no regrets, the majority of the American people do.

Most citizens consider his actions to be careless. Approximately two-thirds of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, say Congress should investigate the president. Sixty percent say he acted improperly with classified information.

After days of hunkering down with his advisors and scrutinizing polls, Biden opted to maintain his utter and unequivocal rejection of regret or guilt. Many of us who have watched Biden and his family over the years were not surprised.

I wrote at the beginning of this classified document scandal that Biden’s silence is unsurprising. Biden has always been better at expressing disgust than guilt.

He has often gone in front of cameras to accuse people of crimes, frequently without any basis in reality. He hasn’t even waited for an investigation, let alone a trial.” When it comes to his own alleged misdeeds, Biden will dodge, and deny, but rarely admit fault.
