Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have changed the name of their son Aire. While announcing the new name on Instagram on Saturday, the Kylie Cosmetics founder also released a full-body shot of the baby, exposing his entire face for the first time.
The reality TV star and the 11-month-old posed for a sweet mirror selfie in one snap, while the youngster sat in his high chair with food splattered on his bib in another.
Kylie Jenner, 25, and Travis Scott, 31, called their son Wolf Jacques Webster at first, but it appears then that Kylie wasn’t happy with the name as she announced on March 21 that they had altered the name.
Taking to Instagram Story this time, Kylie wrote, “FYI OUR SONS NAME ISN’T WOLF ANYMORE.”
She explained, “WE JUST REALLY DIDN’T FEEL LIKE IT WAS HIM. JUST WANTED TO SHARE BECAUSE I KEEP SEEING WOLF EVERYWHERE.”
People later quoted a source as saying that while the couple “liked Wolf” at first, they ultimately “wanted to choose the perfect name that they both loved.”
Kylie has been releasing photographs from her pregnancy on Instagram since February 2, as well as a home movie titled “To Our Son” on her YouTube account, which includes intimate footage from the moments leading up to her baby’s delivery.
The vlog included Kylie’s first doctor’s checkup, her 4-year-old daughter Stormi telling grandma Kris Jenner about her sibling, and Kylie’s giraffe-themed shower.
The video ended with audio of a doctor telling Kylie, “He’s out! Your son is here!” Viewers could then hear Scott proudly saying, “What’s up, boy? What’s up, big boy?”
