Donald Trump, accuses Biden of pressuring Justice Department to issue a “fake indictment” against him for handling classified materials.
In a video that was shared on Truth Social, Trump made the claims, claiming that Biden is using the indictment as a distraction. He stated, “Crooked Joe Biden pressed deranged Jack Smith to do this fake indictment on me.”

In connection with the alleged mishandling of classified documents, Trump pleaded not guilty to 37 counts.
He was charged in the unsealed indictment with improperly storing information about the national defense, sharing it with people who didn’t have the right security clearances, and hindering the government’s efforts to recover documents.
Trump and his Republican allies have repeatedly criticized the Justice Department and the Biden administration, claiming that the former president was the target of their efforts to harm Trump’s 2024 campaign.
In yet another attempt to rig and steal a presidential election, this is referred to as election interference. Trump was quoted by the news website SurgeZirc US as saying, “It’s a political persecution like something straight out of a fascist or communist nation.”
He described Biden as the most corrupt president in American history. Joe Biden will always be remembered as the most corrupt president in our nation’s history, and this day will live in infamy,” he added.
However, in recent days, Biden and his staff have emphasized that they have not communicated with special counsel Jack Smith or Attorney General Merrick Garland regarding the case.
Biden claimed to be sincere in his approach to governance and stated that he had never suggested to the Justice Department what steps they should take to bring charges, most especially Trump’s indictment charges.
“You’ll notice I have never once, not one single time, suggested to the Justice Department what they should do or not do relative to bringing a charge or not bringing a charge. I’m honest,” Biden had said last week.
