For the first time since 2018, the Grammy winner ‘Taylor Swift’, sang the Kanye West anthem “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” during the American leg of her successful Eras Tour on Saturday.
When Swift performed an acoustic version of the song at Seattle’s Lumen Field, she let out an enormous laugh. The song is from her “Reputation” album.

She sang, as she often did while singing the song, “And here’s to you, ’cause forgiveness is a nice thing to do,” before breaking into fits of laughter. The 33-year-old pop artist said after gathering herself, “I can’t even say it with a straight face.”
After her epic spat with West, and his then-wife, Kim Kardashian, the song was published and surprised fans with a performance.
At the 2009 VMAs, Kanye interrupted Swift’s victory speech for Best Video by a Female Artist, starting their ongoing animosity that has lasted for years.
Despite the fact that they appeared to reconcile in the years that followed, he went on to record the song “Famous” in 2016 and claimed he had permission from Swift to refer to her as “that bitch” in the lyrics.
However, the “Cruel Summer” chart-topper argued her point, prompting Kim Kardashian to release a tape of the conversation and refer to the musician as a “snake.”
“Wait, National Snake Day is actually today? The reality personality tweeted at the time, “They have holidays for everyone, I mean everything these days.

Swift then claimed that she wrote new songs to cope with the criticism that followed Kardashian’s video appearing to show her nodding in agreement with the rapper’s lyrics.
“A mass public shaming, with millions of people saying you are quote-unquote canceled, is a very isolating experience,” she said to Vogue in 2019.
