Over the weekend of July 29, Cardi B became famous for throwing a microphone at a concertgoer after they hurled an unknown substance at her.

The singer was identified as a suspect for violence on July 31; nearly a week later, on Aug. 3, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department informed ABC News that she will not face prosecution.
“This case has been closed as having insufficient evidence,” local officials said in the statement.
According to the police record that the aforementioned media was able to secure, the “unnamed individual” was “hit by the microphone on her right shoulder.”
Additionally, it stated that the woman was “going to get medical attention” since she was “experiencing pain due to this incident.” Despite being listed as a suspect in the battery report, Cardi won’t be prosecuted.
When Cardi and her boyfriend uploaded a video of the 30-year-old twerking on Offset in a red/orange bikini on July 31, they put the microphone scuffle behind them.

She captioned the video, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” Cardi and Offset can be seen dancing around in the now-viral video while relaxing by their hotel’s rooftop pool.
Their reported cheating crisis that occurred just weeks before the release of “Jealousy” followed this. Offset, 31, has since acknowledged that when he made the accusations against his wife, he was “lit” and that he embellished the truth.
