It’s not every day that you see a pop star getting booed at a football game. But when Taylor Swift appeared on the big screen at the Kansas City Chiefs-New England Patriots game, she faced the wrath of Patriots fans.
However, Travis Kelce, the Chiefs’ tight end and Taylor’s boyfriend, was thoroughly impressed with her unbothered demeanor.
On the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, Travis couldn’t help but praise his “amazing” girlfriend for shrugging off the hate she received from the opposing team’s fans.
He marveled at the fact that an entire home team fan base went insane for someone wearing the rival team’s colors. “Just shows you how amazing that girl is,” he exclaimed.
Travis acknowledged that there were a few “Brads and Chads” who couldn’t resist booing Taylor, but for the most part, the crowd was “screaming their tail off” for her. He even gave a shout-out to the Patriots for showcasing Taylor on the big screen.
Apparently, Taylor herself had mentioned that Gillette Stadium was one of the most enjoyable venues she had performed at during her Eras Tour.
During the game, Taylor showed her unwavering support for Travis as well. When he got pushed by Patriots cornerback Myles Bryant in the end zone, Taylor jumped out of her seat and let out an expletive-laden reaction.
It’s safe to say that she’s not one to hold back when it comes to defending her man. Fortunately, Travis emerged unscathed, and the Chiefs went on to defeat the Patriots 27-17.
Since they started dating, Taylor has been a regular at Travis’ football games, and he has reciprocated by attending one of her shows during her tour in Argentina. With Taylor currently on a break from touring until February, she has more time to spend with Travis amidst his busy football schedule.

According to a recent report from Page Six, Taylor plans to be present at Travis’ upcoming Christmas and New Year’s games, both of which will be held at the Chiefs’ home stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. It seems like the couple is making the most of their time together during the holiday season.
