Beyoncé, the 42-year-old “Texas Hold ‘Em” hitmaker, is embracing her countryside in a new photoshoot for W Magazine. The second part of the shoot features Beyoncé posing at a ranch, fully embracing the cowgirl aesthetic.

In the digital story’s cover image, Beyoncé is standing next to a horse, wearing an all-gray suit with orange accents. She completes the look with a matching gray cowgirl hat and heels.

The second picture from the shoot shows Beyoncé wearing sunglasses and a different hat, gently petting the horse. These images follow the release of Beyoncé’s country album, “Cowboy Carter,” which dropped on March 29.

In an Instagram post on April 4, Paul McCartney expressed his admiration for Beyoncé’s rendition of “Blackbird.” He reflected on the impact of the song and its relevance to current racial tensions.

McCartney wrote, “When I saw the footage on television in the early ’60s of black girls being turned away from school, I found it shocking. I can’t believe that there are still places where this kind of thing is happening right now.

Anything my song and Beyoncé’s fabulous version can do to ease racial tension would be a great thing and makes me very proud.”

While Beyoncé’s new music has received high praise, she has also faced criticism. During her acceptance speech for the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Beyoncé addressed the challenges she has encountered as an innovator.

Without explicitly mentioning her critics, she spoke about the importance of staying true to one’s vision and overcoming obstacles. She stated, “Being an innovator is seeing what everyone believes is impossible.

Being an innovator often means being criticized, which usually will test your mental strength. Being an innovator is leaning on faith and trusting that God will catch you and guide you.

So, to all the record labels, radio stations, and awards shows, I hope that we’re more open to the joy and liberation that comes from enjoying art with no preconceived notions.”
