Dallas Mavericks minority owner and billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban sparked a lively discussion on social media with his recent poll on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Cuban asked his followers whether they would prefer their children to grow up emulating former President Donald Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris. The results were staggering, and the aftermath has been filled with debate and commentary.
Mark Cuban’s poll, which garnered 804,173 votes, showed a significant preference for Trump over Harris.
The final tally revealed that 68.9% of respondents favored Trump, while only 31.1% preferred Harris. This lopsided result has triggered numerous reactions from political commentators and influencers.
Who’s persona and character would you like to see young children grow up to have:

Former Republican candidate for Missouri Secretary of State Valentina Gomez, among other right-wing voices, seized the opportunity to highlight perceived flaws in Harris’s professional history.
Cuban, himself a vocal opponent of Trump despite some initial support during Trump’s first campaign, has continued to express his disapproval of the former president.
Cuban’s shift in opinion about Trump is noteworthy. In 2015, he commended Trump as a non-traditional candidate and even suggested he might consider being Trump’s running mate.
However, today’s stance profoundly differs, particularly after openly advocating for Joe Biden over Trump in the 2020 election.
Since Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee in 2020, Mark Cuban has been vocal in his support.
He has defended her economic proposals and criticized Trump’s policy positions, even accusing Trump of appropriating Harris’s policies to his advantage. Cuban’s engagement on X has further elevated the visibility of this discourse.
