Kim Kardashian And Paris Hilton Feud Rumors Addressed Amid Biography Interview Controversy
A report says the longtime friends remain on good terms after author Jonathan Van Meter claimed Paris Hilton canceled 17 scheduled interviews for Kim Kardashian’s upcoming biography.

Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are reportedly still on good terms despite speculation about tension between the longtime friends following a series of canceled interviews for an upcoming biography about Kardashian.
A source told E! News that Kardashian is not upset with Hilton over her absence from interviews for Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future, a biography by journalist Jonathan Van Meter.
“An old assistant at Paris’s company was coordinating the interview, and it seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle of Paris’s incredibly hectic schedule,” the source explained. “As you can imagine, she has a lot of projects happening at once and is constantly traveling, so coordinating interviews can sometimes be a challenge.”
The source also dismissed suggestions that the situation had damaged their friendship.
“Kim is not mad. In fact, she and Paris are both involved in each other’s upcoming projects and continue to always support one another.”
Paris Hilton’s Canceled Interviews Spark Kim Kardashian Feud Speculation
Talk of a possible disagreement emerged after Van Meter discussed his experience arranging interviews with Hilton for the biography.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published October 23, the author claimed Hilton had canceled meetings with him “17 times over about four months.”
“Eventually I thought the cancellations were more interesting than whatever she’d tell me,” Van Meter told the publication. “Kim was so mad when I told her. It seemed to stir up some ancient irritation between them.”
E! News reported that it had contacted representatives for Kardashian and Hilton for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.

Recent social media activity has offered a glimpse of the pair’s ongoing connection. Kardashian reposted Hilton’s October 21 birthday messages to her Instagram Story, according to E! News.
The two women have known each other since childhood, and Kardashian has previously credited Hilton with helping introduce her to a wider audience early in her career. Before becoming a household name through reality television and building her business ventures, Kardashian also worked as a stylist for Hilton.
In a 2019 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Kardashian openly acknowledged Hilton’s influence on her early public profile.

“Paris, in my eyes, has done a lot for me in my career,” Kardashian said. “A lot of people became aware of who I was through my friendship with her.”
Kardashian also acknowledged that their friendship went through a period when they were less in touch after she began filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The pair eventually reconnected when they crossed paths, Kardashian explained, adding, “She was always really supportive and really sweet about it.”
For now, the source cited by E! News maintains that Kardashian and Hilton continue to support each other, despite the speculation surrounding the biography interviews.
