At the age of 12 years, Sherrxica ‘Rexy’ Rolle, started working with her parents, meanwhile kids at her age were playing around and being kids.
Her dad, Captain Rex Rolle, a professional pilot and her mom, Shandrice Rolle, an entrepreneur, are the owners of Western Air Limited. Rexy started as a baggage worker at Western Air Limited before being trusted with observing plane inspections, currently, she is the vise president of operations and general guidance of Western Air Limited, the largest Black-owned private airline.

At that age, according to blackbusiness.com, she got involved by helping out with baggage claims and currently, she’s the company’s vice president of operations and general counsel.
Sherrxicia’s parents prepared her at an early age with the essential hard-working attitude when she started working as a handler after school until she was given the opportunity to watch planes inspections. She later developed an interest in areas where the airline can work on to advance and not long after she completed college, she went back to tackle the issues and found a solution.

She then, discovered the lack of gender diversity in aviation after she observed that most of the executive position is mostly dominated by men while most of the women are often regarded as not qualified for the top jobs.
She was inspired to work harder to break the glass ceiling in the airline industry. Before she reached the age of 30, she was already overseeing the expansion of the family’s airline and making waves internationally.
Rexy, who is now a business and aviation lawyer is the one to be credited on the recent feat of Western Air Limited as the largest Black privately-owned airline in the world
