Funke Akindele-Bello’s TV series, was recently approached by the Nigerian singer, Zlatan, to feature him on Jenifa’s Dairies, during a live Instagram session.
It seems like the singer is ready to showcase his acting skills and he made a bold move by asking for a role in Jenifa’s Diary. During the Instagram live session with the Nollywood actor and filmmaker, he made the request after she had prayed for him in Yoruba. Part of her prayer reads:

“We will both remain successful, may we not be put to shame, God has made us the head, may we not fail. Zlatan.” Shortly after the prayer in which he responded with an amen, he inquired about her family and kids before asking for a feature in the hit TV series. He said: “Please ma, don’t forget me for the next episode oo,”
Akindele-Bello replied in an encouraging manner, promising to hook up with him soon. Zlatan’s plead for a feature in Jenifa Diary, came shortly after Davido gifted the Yeye Boyfriend crooner a 40 karat necklace from the ones on his neck. The new father is living high like nobody else business.

Davido posted the video of the touching moment on his Instagram as he explained the reason behind his action. Meanwhile, Davido remembered bringing Zlatan along with him to Dubai just a year ago when nobody barely knew him, and wow look now he’s one of the popping artistes around. After all good things come to those who wait.
