Zozobini Tunzi Miss SA has been crowned Miss Universe, outclassing 90 other contestants for the title.
South Africa has congratulated their homegirl for this massive achievement on a global scale. Mzansi woke up to the news that their very own Miss SA has just been crowned Miss Universe.

Miss SA inspired the world with her speech on what young women need to be taught: “I think the most important thing we should be teaching young girls today is leadership.”
“It’s something that has been lacking in young girls for a very long time, not because we don’t want to [take leadership], but because of how society has labelled women to be.”
She also highlighted the importance of taking up space in this world and cementing your space in the world.

SurgeZirc SA reported that Zozibini had shown appreciation to her parents shortly before she was crowned, Miss Universe.
