Liam Payne has confirmed one direction are planning a special project together to mark their tenth anniversary in July. “We’ve got a ten year anniversary coming up so we’ve all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks which has been really nice,” The singer said.

The “Midnight“ singer also revealed that he is in constant contact with bandmates Harry Styles, Nial Horan and Louis Tomlinson. However, he did not mention bandmate Zayn Malik who quit in 2015 and whether he would be a part of this special project.
Liam said there’s a number of different things they are all working on to try and make this show happen and people are forwarding emails around but apart from that, he assures this has been a good time to reconnect.
He also mentioned that the group did well together and sold more than 50 million records, went on indefinite hiatus four years ago but he loves what his bandmates have done in the meantime individually especially Harry.
