Brad Pitt Gushes About 14-Year-Old Shiloh Jolie-Pitt — He Is So Proud!

“Brad is so proud of Shiloh and who she has become. He loves that she always stays true to herself and is so good to her brothers and sisters.”

Sounds like Brad Pitt is reflecting on the importance of family during quarantine!

The coronavirus crisis has put a lot of things on hold, but that won’t stop the Jolie-Pitt clan from celebrating Shiloh’s 14th birthday. In fact, a source told Entertainment Tonight:

“All the kids have been looking forward to Shiloh’s birthday and plan to celebrate with a birthday cake.”

Awww! Seems like a reasonable expectation, even in the age of social distancing! Btw, Shiloh’s big day was Wednesday!

What’s unclear is whether Brad will be there with them to cut the cake. The family has experienced some serious tension since the 2016 split from Angelina Jolie. However, the source did confirm Shiloh is one of the kids who has a close relationship with both parents, saying:

“Brad is so proud of Shiloh and who she has become. He loves that she always stays true to herself and is so good to her brothers and sisters.”

There’s no question it must be difficult to stay true to yourself when living in the shadow of your ultra-famous parents. The extra scrutiny of being a celeb kid means that Shiloh’s masculine-presenting style has turned heads in the past.

Brad and Angie had even revealed Shiloh preferred to be called John in their younger years, though the family has been mostly (and understandably!) private about their gender identity.

The important thing is that Brad has been (hopefully) improving his relationship with his kids after all the divorce drama. The Oscar winner said his kids “color everything I do” in his acceptance speech, so he must be working hard to mend fences. The ET source shared:

“Brad’s kids are the most important thing to him. He tells his friends he learns so much about life from his own children. He and Angie have been getting along so much better since the custody rules have been worked out. They have come so far.”
