Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea comes under severe pressure as his disappointing errors paved way for Chelsea to walk through to FA Cup final as they look to battle Arsenal.
Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have brought this upon himself as he didn’t use his usual FA Cup keeper Sergio Romero but brought in De Gea, and the Spain international produced two horrendous errors either side of half-time to allow Chelsea two goals.
De Gea made a flimsy attempt to deal with Olivier Giroud’s flick in first-half stoppage time and then weakly fumbled Mason Mount’s tame 20-yard shot into the net moments after the restart.
Chelsea’s brilliant performance brought a well-deserved win over Man United’s collapse after a dreadful performance was complete when captain Harry Maguire diverted Marcos Alonso’s cross into his own net at the near post with 16 minutes left.

Bruno Fernandes pulled a goal back from the penalty spot late on after Callum Hudson-Odoi fouled Anthony Martial although it couldn’t be described as a consolation as Chelsea wrapped up the win.
