President Donald Trump’s Youngest Brother Robert Trump Dies At 72

The White House did not release details of Robert Trump's reason for being hospitalized, but we have only learned that he was said to be seriously ill, after spending a week in the intensive care unit at nearby Mount Sinai Hospital in June.

The United States President Donald Trump’s younger brother Robert Trump has died in a hospital in New York City, after being visited by his older brother President Trump SurgeZirc US has learned.

President Trump released the following statement after being informed of the death of Robert Trump:

“It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.”

Robert Trump, 72, was the president’s youngest brother, and his close friend according to President Trump who hinted that Robert was very ill and got admitted to the hospital on Friday.

It’s not yet certain what illness Robert Trump suffered from that led to his death, but he was said to be in critical condition at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center on the Upper East Side.

“I have a wonderful brother. We’ve had a great relationship for a long time, from day one. It’s a long time ago. And he’s in the hospital right now. And hopefully, he’ll be alright, but he is pretty — he’s having a hard time,” President Trump said at a press briefing Friday.

President Trump paid a visit to his youngest brother, one of his four siblings at the hospital, after flying to New Jersey and then taking a helicopter into Manhattan.

“I am going to the hospital. I hope he’s OK,” Trump said as he landed in New Jersey.

President Trump visited his nearby country club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Friday night where he delivered remarks to the City of New York Police Benevolent Association.

Records show that Robert Trump had worked for his older brother at the Trump Organization and recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Trump family, a move he made to stop publication of a tell-all book by the president’s niece Mary titled “Too Much and Never Enough.”

Although Robert Trump was once a regular boldface name in Manhattan’s social pages, he has kept a lower profile in recent times. He got married to his longtime girlfriend, Ann Marie Pallan, in March after divorcing his first wife, Blaine Trump, decades ago.
