Meghan Markle is glittering in expensive accessories for her new official portrait with her husband, British Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex wore on her wrist a $6,500 Cartier “love” bracelet and a $23,000 Cartier watch that Prince Harry’s mum, Princess Diana, owned. Plus, of course, her $350,000 diamond engagement ring right on her finger.
The accessories were all placed to complement a $2,800 Alexander McQueen suit, the same one Meghan wore to her first evening function as a royal, according to the Daily Mail.
The huge sum for all Meghan Markle wore is $382,300. Meanwhile, Prince Harry dressed in a dark suit and white shirt — sans tie.
The new black-and-white photo was taken by LA-based entertainment photographer Matt Sayles. In the photo, Meghan sat in front of Harry, looking down and laughing, while Harry, flashed and maintained a smile, his head slightly tilted, one hand resting on the chair.
The photo was released by Time Magazine on Friday to advertise a specially-curated Time100 talk that Meghan and Harry will lead next week. The talk is titled “Engineering a Better World.” It’ll feature personalities like Reddit founder and friend Alexis Ohanian.
The new virtual hosting show is just one among many taken on by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. For the past few months, they’ve been participating in virtual talks from their new California home.
Though fans have been getting glimpses of their new California mansion through these show appearances, a listing for the home on a rental site revealed never-before-seen details of the home.
Meghan and Harry bought the home for $14.7 million. In September, Harry and Meghan announced they would repay the $2.9 million taxpayers footed for renovations on their British home, Frogmore Cottage, which they abandoned when they decided to step back as senior royals.
