Jason Kelce, the 36-year-old Philadelphia Eagles player, proved that he understands the power of the Swifties when he went out of his way to help a young fan show off her Taylor Swift sign at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game on January 21.
In a heartwarming social media video, Jason can be seen coming down from the suite to lift up the little girl and bring her closer to the window of the suite where Taylor and the rest of Travis Kelce’s inner circle were cheering him on.
“We’re going to show this to Taylor,” Jason said to the young fan as he hoisted her up and walked her over to the window. Not only did he make sure Taylor got a good look at the sign, but he also took the time to stop and take pictures with other young fans, much to the delight of the crowd.
While fans were eager to catch a glimpse of Taylor supporting Travis at the game, many couldn’t help but declare Jason the real star of the show. Despite playing for one of the Chiefs’ rival teams, Jason didn’t hesitate to go all out in rooting for the Chiefs. He ripped off his shirt and sported a Chiefs beanie, capturing the attention and admiration of the crowd.
“We came for Taylor and Travis and have fallen in love with Jason and Kylie [Kelce],” one TikTok user commented under the video. Another user added, “He just gave those two girls core memories that they’ll NEVER forget.”
Even those who weren’t football fans couldn’t help but appreciate Jason’s enthusiasm, with one person chiming in, “I don’t even like football, but Jason is that guy, dude.” While it’s unclear if Taylor saw the fan’s sign after Jason brought her over, she was spotted celebrating her boyfriend’s successful game throughout the night.
Travis even blew her a kiss and held up Taylor’s signature heart hands gesture after scoring a touchdown on the field. Taylor was also seen watching the game alongside Donna Kelce and Brittany Mahomes, wife of Patrick Mahomes.
Given that Taylor and Travis have both emphasized the importance of family values, it’s no surprise that Taylor’s association with the Kelce family has garnered attention. Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, has previously been seen bonding with Travis at one of Taylor’s concerts during her Eras Tour in South America at the end of 2023.
This recent Swiftie nod from Jason only further solidified the belief among social media users that Taylor and the Kelces are a perfect match.
