Aisha Buhari Arrives Nigeria Amid President Buhari Getting Married Rumor

Mrs. Aisha Buhari got to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 4:30, am through a British Airways flight and was warmly received by wives of past and present, including a host of other friends and well-wishers.

Aisha Buhari, wife of the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has returned from her trip to London following the rumor making round that her husband president Buhari has married another wife.

The first lady who made a holiday trip to the United Kingdom two months back arrived the country in the midst of a claimed wedding that was supposed to hold on Saturday between president Buhari and Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq, who was recently given a federal political appointment to lead the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.

Mrs. Aisha Buhari got to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 4:30, am through a British Airways flight and was warmly received by wives of past and present, including a host of other friends and well-wishers.

Aisha who made mention of her trip back to the country yesterday’s night on her social media handle said, Mrs. Modupe Oguntade, the wife of Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Retired Justice George Oguntade, was seeing her off.


While responding to newsmen on arrival Mrs. Buhari said she was happy to be home after a well-deserved rest in the UK. She reaffirmed that she was fully rejuvenated to continue the work of improving the lives, health, and well-being of women, children, mostly the girl child as she has announced severally on her social media platforms.

It’s not clear how the first lady feels about the rumor of her husband taking another wife as she refused to comment on all questions pointing to that.
